Derek Daniel, Lyndy Clementson join Market Street Partners
Market Street Partners, PLLC, a dual-market Chattanooga-based accounting firm, has added Derek Daniel as a principal and Lyndy Clementson as manager of human resources.
Prior to joining Market Street Partners, Daniel served clients of all sizes at a regional accounting firm. A certified public accountant, Daniel has 16 years of accounting experience and his primary industry focus is manufacturing and distribution, where he has served companies including chemical, food and beverage, industrial manufacturing, e-tail distributors, and furniture.
Clementson, a certified professional human resources specialist, has led human resources initiatives in policy design, compensation, performance management, recruiting, compliance, HRIS implementations, employee relations, HR workflow development, and benefits administration.
"These are two critical hires that will benefit our clients immensely, while also ensuring that we are taking care of our most valuable resources at MSP — our people," said Kyle Bryant, founding partner at Market Street Partners. "We wouldn't be able to attract this caliber of talent unless we'd grown by leaps and bounds over the past few years, and both Lyndy and Derek will enable us to continue that trajectory."
Life Force workers win industry honor
The Association of Air Medical Services recently recognized two employees of Erlanger Health System's Life Force helicopter program for extraordinary service in the air medical service during the national 2020 Air Medical Transport Conference.
Robert Berger, a flight paramedic, received the prestigious Jim Charlson Safety Award for outstanding contributions to transport safety. Robbie Tester, senor director of Life Force and Erlanger's regional operations center, received the AAMS Excellence in Transport Leadership Award recognizing him as a superior transport leader.
Berger joined Life Force in June of 1995 as a flight paramedic on the then newly created base in Sparta, Tenn. He assisted in driving the NICU transport team until Life Force 2 moved into their new base at the Upper Cumberland Regional Airport in 1996. From 1995 through 2008, he has served in various capacities for several Upper Cumberland Emergency Services, including working as a part-time paramedic for Putnam County EMS, volunteer firefighter for Putnam County Fire Department, and volunteer firefighter for North End Fire Department. Berger has served as chair of the Life Force Safety Committee since 2008.
As a 21-year Erlanger Health System employee, Tester currently leads a team comprised of over 100 personnel in a variety of EMS roles and capacities. He first came to Erlanger as Chief of Emergency Medical Services and was responsible for the health system's ground EMS component. Under Tester's leadership, the Life Force program has navigated a partnership with Med-Trans Corporation, expansion of its footprint from two to six full-time helicopter bases serving over 60 counties, development of a regional operations center, new services such as critical care response vehicles, event medicine and additional special operations.
"Erlanger is exceptionally fortunate to have associates of this caliber leading from the front with LIFE FORCE," said Erlanger President and CEO Dr. William Jackson. "Their dedication to the crew and community are unsurpassed. I sincerely appreciate Robert and Robbie's commitment in prioritizing our quality, safety and overall operational excellence."
