SPRINGFIELD, Mo. -- One person has died from injuries after being ejected from a car crash Sunday morning on Division Street in Springfield.
Springfield police say the passenger was ejected from the car after it struck a utility pole. It happened in the 1100 block of Division Street shortly before 11 a.m.
A man and woman were involved in the crash, but their identities have not yet been released. Police have not yet confirmed which passenger was ejected.
Police say a car left the side of the road and hit a pole. The pole then snapped in half, and the car ended up on the driver's side after rolling over.
The driver suffered non-life-threatening injuries in the crash.
Springfield police continue to investigate the crash. We will update as more information becomes available.
