Police investigate a shooting Sunday mid-morning in Syracuse.
SYRACUSE, N.Y.— Police are at the scene of a shooting at an apartment complex on the 200 block of Beattie Street.
The shooting occurred around 11:30 a.m. An ambulance could be seen speeding away around 11:45, and neighbors said a man was shot.
Police could be seen placing about five evidence markers at the parking lot between two apartment buildings. And a gold sedan parked in the north end lot appeared to have been shot at least once.
One neighbor said he heard five distinct gunshots then looked out his window to see a Jeep peeling out of the parking lot.
Information about the shooting victim’s condition was not immediately available.
