CASPER, Wyo. — Second Street from David Street to Durbin Street in downtown Casper will be closing from Monday, October 4 through Saturday, October 30, according to the City of Casper Streets Division.
The street will be closed as crews work to repair concrete and mill and overlay the street with asphalt. Concrete curb lines will be repaired as will crosswalks.
The street will be closed to through traffic. Center, Wolcott and Durbin Street will remain open to through travel at Second Street.
There will be no parking on the street during the project. However, sidewalks will remain open to pedestrian traffic.
“While concrete repair is taking place, crosswalks may be closed and pedestrians should cross 2nd Street at alternative locations,” Casper Streets and Traffic Manager Shad Rodgers said.
The work is being conducted by Crown Construction and is being funded by Optional One Cent funds.
