There will be a closure of 61st and 63rd streets between Jay and Valmont roads from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, as well as Aug. 23 and 24, so that work crews can safely complete paving operations.
The roads will be closed to both cyclists and motor vehicles. Residential traffic will be allowed access to their homes during this time. Those living north of Andrus Road should use Jay Road to access their homes.
Detours for all other travelers will be created on 75th Street. Public access to the Tree Farm nursery will still be permitted from Valmont Road.
