STEUBENVILLE — First Fridays on Fourth Street will have an Olympics theme appropriately this Friday when it unfolds beginning at 6 p.m. in downtown Steubenville.
Plans call for games for children and adults, including a hula hoop contest and a water-balloon toss, according to the Facebook page of the Harmonium Project, described as “a movement to revitalize downtown Steubenville through music, community and a willingness to serve.”
July’s First Friday on Fourth Street — these street festivals are organized by the Harmonium Project and Steubenville Young Preservationists — featured a full slate of activities as well as local food trucks, artisan vendors, craft beer and wine and music.
A scavenger hunt, a pie competition and some improv performances were all part of the July event festivities. These are some of the photos I took during my visit there.
