MADISON (WKOW) -- Madison Police are responding to a reported weapons violation on First Street in Madison, according to Dane County Communications. Madison Police OIC confirmed the response is focused on the temporary men's shelter which is the former city's fleet services building.
Dane County Communications tells 27 News the weapons violation call came in at 7:24 p.m.
Our crew on the scene tells us First Street is blocked off between East Washington Ave. and Johnson Street but it can be described as a very large police presence.
