Here are upcoming street closings:
Lindsay Street
Lindsay Street between Vine Street and Oak Street will be closed from Monday, October 19th until Friday, October 30th for an emergency sewer repair. Detours will be posted.
Holmberg Pedestrian Bridge
The Holmberg Pedestrian Bridge between the Hunter Museum and Walnut Street will be closed Monday, October 19th through Friday, October 23rd for renovation of the access stairs and ramp.
Walnut Street
Walnut Street between E 3rd Street and E 4th Street will be closed to through traffic from Monday, October 19th until Friday, November 20th for construction. Closure will be active 8AM until 7PM weekdays only. Detours will be posted.
Closures this weekend:
Discovery Drive
Discovery Drive will be closed from 8:00 AM Saturday, October 17 until 10:00 PM Sunday, October 18 at the railroad grade crossing. Detours will be posted.
Broad Street
Broad Street will be closed 8:00 AM Saturday through 10:00 PM Sunday between W Aquarium Way and W 3rd Street as an outdoor expansion for restaurants. CDOT is working to help businesses comply with social distancing requirements by providing the extra room in our public space.
Riverfront Parkway
On Sundays beginning October 18th through November 8th from 8 AM until 8 PM, Riverfront Parkway will be closed between E Aquarium Way and Power Alley. This closure encourages the use of our public right-of-way while providing space for social distancing.
Riverfront Parkway between Chestnut Street and Power Alley will continue to be closed from 8PM Sunday until 7PM Monday for refreshing the mural installation. Detours will be posted.
Reggie White Boulevard
Reggie White Boulevard will be closed Sundays from 6 AM until 6 PM for the Chattanooga Essentials Market to enhance social distancing measures. CDOT is working to help businesses comply with social distancing requirements by providing the extra room in our public space.
