Albany police are investigating a shooting early Saturday morning on Lark Street that left a man in critical condition.
At about 4:30 a.m., officers responded to Lark and First Streets for reports of shots fired. Shortly after that response, Albany Medical Center Hospital staff notified police that a 31-year-old man had entered the emergency room with gunshot wounds to the torso.
Through the investigation it was determined that the victim was shot on Lark Street. He remains admitted at the hospital and is listed in critical condition.
