A 63-year-old man was killed in crash on W. Eighth St. Friday afternoon, according to a statement from the Cincinnati Police Department.
Kenneth Hooper walked into the street where he was struck by Tawana Williams, 36, driving down W. Eighth St.
Police responders arrived on the scene at 4:25 p.m. Hooper was critically injured and taken to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center, where he died.
Williams sustained minor injuries that did not require medical treatment, according to police.
Police are currently determining whether excessive speed or impairment was a factor in the crash. Any witnesses to the crash are asked to call the CPD Traffic Unit at 513-352-2514
