More Goldsboro roads will get a makeover.
At last week’s city council meeting, Goldsboro City Engineer Marty Anderson told the council about the latest round of streets set for repaving this year.
The 2020 Street Paving Improvements Project includes:
- Oak Hill Drive from N. Berkeley Boulevard to Green Drive
- E. Chestnut Street from Slocumb Street to S. Leslie Street
- Hawthorne Street from Oleander Avenue to Andrews Avenue
- Mimosa Street from Claiborne Street to Randolph Street
Weavers Asphalt and Maintenance Company was selected for the project with a low bid of $641,711.
The Goldsboro City Council approved the 2020 Street Paving Improvement Project contract.
