A fire was reported just before 6 a.m. Friday in new construction across the street from the FedEx facility in Allen Township, authorities say.
Initial reports were that the fire was on the roof in the 1000 block of Willowbrook Road, a Northampton County emergency dispatch supervisor said.
No injuries were immediately reported, the supervisor added.
Crews were inside the building just after 6:30 a.m. and reported there was fire near a wall and the roof had damage, according to dispatches.
A report from the scene indicated the firefighting effort was focused on the roof of the under-construction warehouse.

A second alarm was called.
The fire was knocked down by 6:53 a.m., but the roof needed to be pulled apart in spots to ensure it hadn’t spread, dispatches said. It was termed under control at 7:21 a.m. and out at 7:37 a.m.
