New Yorkers might want to throttle these guys.
Over 100 motorbikes and ATVs were caught on camera taking over an Upper East Side street, blocking traffic and nearly knocking over pedestrians, video shows.
Footage of the joyriding pack speeding along E. 94th St. Sunday night was captured by Fox news anchor Melissa Francis, who called out city officials for allowing the chaos.
“Hey @NYCMayorsOffice @NYPD @NYPD,” Francis tweeted. “Small problem here on UES.”
The roving biker gang was seen revving their engines, popping wheelies, and hopping onto the sidewalk, where trapped bystanders were trying to cross to the street.
“Mad Max is going to show up any moment,” one Twitter viewer wrote.
The incident comes after another group of bikers flouted the ban on large crowds to swarm a funeral as cops stood nearby directing traffic.
The NYPD said there were several reports of reckless endangerment in the area at the time, though no citations were given.
“People shouldn’t be riding that way, period. They’re operating outside the vehicle traffic laws and in an unsafe manner causing potential harm to the community,” a spokesperson said.
