Geary County Sheriff's Department reports include a response by Deputies to the 900 block of North East Street for a single vehicle non-injury accident. Ashley Sarabia, Junction City, was traveling southbound on North East Street in a 2008 Mitsubishi Eclipse when she swerved to avoid a pedestrian in the roadway. Sarabia's vehicle hit a guardrail which caused disabling damage to the vehicle. There were no reported injuries and the Mitsubishi was removed by the owner.
The accident was reported at 5:42 p.m. Friday.
