WESTFIELD - Construction on the Columbia Greenway Rail Trail’s Main Street bridge will cause detours for a period of 12 hours over two days next week, city officials said.
The section of Main Street between Free Street and Mechanic Street will be temporarily closed to all traffic from 7 p.m. on March 31 until 7 a.m. on April 1.
Traffic control by the Westfield Police Department will be present throughout the duration of the road closure. Entrances to all abutting properties and businesses will remain open and should be unaffected by this closure.
