Work continues on Manchester’s Highway 13 Street Improvement Project.
Pirc Tobin has started on road shoulder work west of 9th Street on West Main. Shoulder work should continue for the next two weeks.
Sidewalk work has been taking place on North Franklin Street between Line Street and Quaker Mill Drive. That should wrap up this week.
Utilities are being relocated by several utility companies between Clara Avenue and Acers Street on North Franklin.
And water main work continues on River Street and will finish up this week.
Starting next Monday, crews will close River Street and West Main Street to get the water main to the south side of West Main. The intersection will be shut down for about a week, with a detour in place. Traffic will be directed down South Franklin to West Marion while the intersection is closed.
The City says with construction going on in so many areas, they ask that people slow down and use caution while driving through the construction areas.
